Paul Kengor is professor of political science at Grove City College, a New York Times bestselling author, and a visiting fellow with the Hoover Institution. A Cold War historian, Dr. Kengor is also author of several faith-based biographies of figures ranging from Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush to Hillary Clinton. Of special interest to Catholics is his 2007 book, The Judge: William P. Clark, Ronald Reagan’s Top Hand, published by Ignatius Press. Kengor’s other recent books include The Communist: Frank Marshall Davis, The Untold Story of Barack Obama’s Mentor, The Crusader: Ronald Reagan and the Fall of Communism, and Dupes: How America’s Adversaries Have Manipulated Progressives for a Century.
Dr. Kengor writes a number of regular commentaries and is a frequent guest on television and radio-talk shows. He does a weekly commentary for EWTN and Ave Maria Radio.
Kengor received his doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh’s Graduate School of Public and International Affairs and his master’s degree from American University’s School of International Service. He also holds an honorary doctorate from Franciscan University of Steubenville.
