Coolest Thing Ever? Catholic School Hosts Conclave!

I spotted this on the Fr. Z blog and was bowled over by the attention to detail. Talk about Catholic education!

Here’s one photo of the proceedings:

See the rest of the photos and a play-by-play of how the Conclave went down at Fr. Z’s blog.

UPDATE — already one of my Facebook followers has shared that her 8th grade class is doing the same thing. If your school is hosting their own mini-conclave please let the rest of us know in the comments! What a cool idea of education through doing.

Thanks Valeria. I can’t say I have THAT many sewing hands available at my school. I have a few, but not enough to cover all those zuchettos! God bless you for this inspiring idea.

Teep– We made them all in about a week and a half. Our dedicated DRE, sacristan’s wife, and school parents pulled all the costumes together!

This is pretty awesome. What I want to know is, how did they get all those costumes? Did they have them already? Thinking of doing something like it . . . Too cool.

  4. WOW. Kudos to those leaders for a lesson nobody will forget!
