Over the weekend, on Facebook and Twitter, Paul Ryan linked to Cardinal Designate Timothy Dolan’s Wall Street Journal op-ed on the HHS mandate and religious liberty.

Wisconsin congressman and chairman of the House Budget committee Ryan wrote:

Archbishop Tim Dolan is today’s leading Catholic thinker in America, and he remains an eloquent advocate for religious freedom. Wisconsinites are proud of him & grateful for his leadership.

Ryan has some history with Dolan.

THIS IS THE WAY IT'S SUPPOSE TO WORK..Governemt linking to what they believe is right. A right that is being held strong on because of the CHURCH...rather than the church placing her IMPROMATER on any candidate in government..the latter ignores her universality and STANDING...Those in government reaching to you makes all people of faith stronger..the other only adds to our divide..which isnt CHRISTS WAY!
