I fail to understand how any Catholic can vote for any Democrat who believes that killing unborn babies is not their concern.

I fail to see how any Cathoilc can support the (R) party with all the hypocrisy that it’s filled with.  Vote for McCain, and yet, today his wife is out posing for Same Sex Marriage ads.  And yet, this was never mentioned on the campaign trail how they really felt about it.
Let’s listen to Karl Rove, while he doesnt support values like marriage.  He himself gets divorced.

What ever you said and what ever you claim doesn’t justify the killing of unborn children. Killing unborn children has nothing to do with same sex marriage of the institution of marriage. Just because someone violates one of the Ten Commandments does not give the right to anyone to violate any of the other Commandments. If you vote for someone who allows others to kill unborn children you may as well be killing thoes children yourself because you allowed it to happen.

There are many issues in the world today that need to be addressed. Abortion is one of them. There are many others as well. Simply because your interpretation of the 10 Commandments makes the killing of fetuses the number one issue doesn’t
make it so. It’s simply your personal interpretation. Others feel that an individuals’ freedom of choice is the number one issue. In fact, I believe America’s Founding Fathers believed that also. I also believe that Jesus thought that this was a priority issue.
Bottom line, your approach, in my opinion, leaves you and others trapped in a mind-set that doesn’t allow for additional data to be addressed. As such, in my opinion, you sit and watch “Rome burn” while maintaining your stance. Roe vs. Wade simply stated that a woman has the right to decide whether she wants to become a mother or not. It left that choice to her rather than to any religious belief or to any government interference. Roe vs. Wade didn’t endorse abortion or uphold abortion. It upheld the belief that, at birth, all women have the right to choose or not to choose motherhood.

You are obviously not a Catholic and I wonder the reason you are posting on a Catholic web site. It is not my opinion that no one has the right to kill unborn children it is the teaching of the church. Every church official alway to the Pope share the belief that no one has the right to kill and life begins at conseption. The time for a woman to make the decesion about being a mother is before she spreads her legs to have sex. She has no right to kill the child just because some man made law allows her to do that. Again this is not my opinion it is the opinion of the church. Why are you trying to make me out to be some kind of radical when all I an doing is repeating the position the Catholic religion takes on the killing of unborn children. Liberal Democrats openly claim the right to kill unborn children right up to when they are born. It won’t be long until people like you allow them to kill their children even after they are born.

I’m on this site because I have a right to be.

Do you have any of your own opinions or are they all based on what the Catholic Church tells you? I’m just curious.

Row vs. Wade has been a law for many years and yet, killing of children has not been made legal so I wouldn’t lose any sleep over that.

If you’re on this site just to quote what the Catholic Church tells you, then why are you on this site? I would think you have nothing to add.

By the way, this is not a Catholic site. It’s a political action committee site using the Catholic Religion name.

Wrong on all 3 counts but nice try.

I am all for children having the right to ride a bike but I don’t support them getting killed by automobiles. However, with the right of riding that bike comes the possibility of death. Do I think, therefore, that outlawing bike riding should be made illegal?
NO.

I am all for citizens having the right to bear arms but I know that some innocent people will be killed by those guns. Do I, therefore, believe that guns should be outlawed?
NO.

I am all for women having the right to choose whether to become mothers or not even though I know this will lead to some abortions. Do I therefore think that a woman’s right to choose should be made illegal?
NO.

With every human right comes the possibility of using that right in a non-forward way. Do we therefore, make human rights illegal?
NO.
Do

I think I get it now. This is not a Catholic site. This is a Democrat site using the Catholic name to convince Catholics that it is acceptable to kill unborn children. You must be designated as their spokesman. No true Catholic should ever vote for a Democrat who believes it is acceptable to kill unborn childred or who looks the other way while the killing continues.

WildWilliam,

You must not have examined this site very carefully if that is your conclusion.

I would like to ask you, what about Republican presidents who claimed to be pro-life, but who “looked the other way” all while they were in office?  And how “pro-life” could Bush have been, considering the war he got us into?  Our voting choices are pretty limited as it is - are you suggesting that we look ONLY at the abortion issue when we vote, and not consider everything else that is at stake?  After all, I’m pro-life, but I would not make a very good president.  It takes a lot more than that.  I would love to vote for a pro-life candidate who would make a wonderful president.  Unfortunately, we were not presented with that option in the last election.

In the recent Massachusetts special election to fill Senator Kennedy’s seat, apparently there were no pro-life candidates.  Should Catholics not vote at all in such a circumstance?

Wild William,

Don’t let the libs on ths site get you down.  It IS a Conservative Catholic website, they are just trying to discourage you from sharing the truths you know from the Catholic Curch.  I have been dealing with these people for a year and they are all bark and no bite.  We know God’s word and the truths taught by the One Holy Catholic Apostolic church.  They will keep trying to ridicule us, but we know the truth will win out.  So don’t let them intimidate you.  They fear us because in their souls they know that we speak the truth.  God bless.

Many pro-choice advocates are not “liberal.” Some are very conservative. Some are libertarians. Some are Catholics, some are Hindu, etc. Your labels are capricious but apparently they serve you well.

You know, when you see everything as liberal vs. conservative, evil vs. good, black vs. white, you fail to see the rainbow. Animals, it’s hypothosized, can not see the rainbow.

The human race is very complex. When you attempt to catagorize all people into two groups, in essence, you fail to embrace the diversity.

Too bad!!!!! What a shame!!!!!
