Perry and Romney slam Biden’s remark on China’s one-child policy

Republican presidential candidates Rick Perry and Mitt Romney both attacked Vice President Biden over his comments on China’s one-child policy that in brutally enforced by coercive abortions.

Mitt Romney:

“Instead of condoning the policy, Vice President Biden should have condemned it in the strongest possible terms,” Mr. Romney’s statement read. “There can be no defense of a government that engages in compulsory sterilization and forced abortions in the name of population control.”

Rick Perry:

“China’s one child policy has led to the great human tragedy of forced abortions throughout China, and Vice President Biden’s refusal to ‘second-guess’ this horrendous policy demonstrates great moral indifference on the part of the Obama Administration. Americans value life, and we deserve leaders who will stand up against such inhumanity, not cast a blind eye.”

The answer is simple….Ron Paul. He has delievered over 3,000 babies. He does not agree with abortions, but he will not tell you that you cannot have one. He does not believe that the government has the right to control your personal life. Vote for liberty.

Forced abortions take away women’s rights. Forced births (anti-choice, anti-abortion) take away women’s rights. Both inhumane.

“forced births take away women’s rights”?

what about the rights of the HUMAN person being aborted? that’s also inhumane. by the way, women have the right to choose to give the baby up for adoption.

But isn’t politics always an exercise in choosing the least bad option? I mean yes Rick Perry has those faults you mentioned, and I myself am a bit distrustful of Mitt Romney just from seeing him during the last presidential race. But whatever their ‘true’ views on prolife issues, they will at least pay lip service to them in politics. This means that regardless of how they truly feel they could, theoretically, be pressured into enacting prolife laws or at least avoid expanding anti-life legislation because they count on people in the prolife movement to support him politically. They NEED our help to stay in office.

President Obama, on the other hand, has no need for the support of the majority of the prolife movement as we’ve never been huge supporters of his. And while you could argue he’s politically obligated to pay the same amount of meaningless lip service to the cause as Romney or Perry, he certainly can’t be pressured politically in the same manner that either of them could to back up that talk.

Don’t make the perfect the enemy of the good, as the President would say…

Good for them for speaking out against Biden’s liberal agreement with Communist China. However, I will never vote for either Romney or Perry and neither should any other faithful Catholic. Romney is an anti-Catholic Mormon who is beholden to his twisted form of “Christianity.” And Rick Perry, who claims to be pro-life, has mandated HPV vaccines for schoolgirls (thus promoting promiscuity) AND he has had a vasectomy! How can you claim to be pro-life if you have yourself sterilized?! And don’t give me the excuse that he’s had as many children as he wanted – how many children did God want him to have? Rick Perry has shown by his actions that he works against the primary tenets of the Catholic faith.

    1. Brian C says:

The ‘mandatory HPV vaccine’ did not become law.
Re: sterilization – Rick Perry is not Catholic.
If Romney or Perry win the Republican nomination, who will you vote for in November, 2012?
      Also, what Enceladus says below.

  5. Kathi McNamee says:

God have mercy on us all!!!! Pray to stop all killing of innocent lives from conception to natural death.

      Amen.

I wonder if either of those two are going to stand up for the unborn here in the U.S. on the campaign trail or if elected And will they sing the same tune to China if either are elected president. The Current Chinese regime IS OUR ENEMY and unfortunately we have to do their bidding due to their owning of our debt. Too many babies have died in this world due to the greed of man. God forgive us!
