		<description><![CDATA[While I am encouraged by Pope Benedict&#039;s endorsement of sound environmental practices I feel that it will likely have no effect on the decisions that Catholics make at the voting booth. As long as Catholics vote for the pro-life party they will also be voting for the party that promotes fracking, defending fossil fuel subsidies, eliminating emissions standards, lowering fuel mileage requirements, expanding offshore drilling without accountability, etc. There is a lot of environmental baggage that comes with the Catholic vote.]]></description>
