Taiwanese bride bemoans lack of men and so … marries herself

When marriage comes to mean whatever we want to mean, it comes to mean … nothing:

A Taiwanese woman left uninspired by the standard of men on offer in her city will finally tie the knot — with herself, Shanghai Daily reported early Saturday.
Chen Wei-yih has bought a flowing white bridal grown, planned a lavish reception and even hired a wedding photographer to mark her unusual matrimony, which takes place next month
Lonely Chen, 30, told local media she was urged to wed by friends and loved ones but could not find a decent husband in Taipei, Taiwan’s largest city. (My FOX Orlando)
The kicker?
“I’m not anti-marriage. I just hope that I can express a different idea within the bounds of a tradition.”
That sounds eerily familiar.

this is just too sad..shows how the longing of the human heart is to love and be loved..but people don’t understand how God meant that to happen.

I’m surprised she didn’t take a boat over to mainland China where they have been aborting baby girls for a generation, leaving Chinese men with a devastating lack of marriageable women…

So can she divorce herself too?

Governments can falsely call all sorts of things by names that mean entirely different things. Take in the west, for example, where governments call homicide “choice” and sodomy “marriage”. It is rather silly, and those who know better are not so easily fooled.
