Theology of the Body is about more than just human sexuality

bones-book-coverIt’s about where we work, where we eat, where we laugh, and where we pray.

And so CV blogger Emily Stimpson has written a new book called These Beautiful Bones: An Everyday Theology of the Body. She tries to explain what the theology of the body has to say about life beyond the bedroom — in all those other everyday moments of our lives.

I know that so many of you have enjoyed Emily’s writing, so you don’t realize need any encouragement from me to purchase this book. But here’s a little teaser video that Emmaus Road Publishing has put together.

The title of this article seems to reflect a confusion about the meaning of “human sexuality”. Human sexuality IS what the theology of the body is about. It is an integrated view of human sexuality and not limited to the bedroom. That seems to be the point of These Beautiful Bones
