I personally do not find these jokes funny. I especially disagree when he says that they are changing the “infallible word of God.” The LATIN version is the said infallible word. Our previous English version was not a direct translation from the Latin version because there is no direct translation for the ‘holy’ words that are in Latin. The new translation is actually a better and closer translation of the sacred Latin text. I am a little bothered by the fact that he calls himself a faithful person, but then mocks the very beliefs of that faith. I do understand it is just harmless comedy, but I am not sure what to think of him.

He’s in character. Don’t take him seriously. As you know, and he probably does too, the Mass text was changed in the 60′s.
