THE MEDIA FINALLY COVERS THE MARCH FOR LIFE   A video of a Native American beating a drum next to a group of Catholic high school students went radioactive on the Internet Saturday, with accusations that the Catholic teenagers were mocking the Native American. But the media’s narrative started to unravel when a full 9-minute video surfaced. “It would have been revolting if Nathan Phillips had been minding his own business doing a tribal chant while a gang of kids swarmed around him and started jeering. That’s what many media outlets reported… That isn’t what happened,” writes Kyle Smith.   READ
TRUMP OFFERS IMMIGRATION COMPROMISE   President Trump offered to sign a bill by Democrats to keep Dreamers and immigrants with Temporary Protected Status in the country for three years in exchange for $5.7 billion to extend the border barrier with Mexico. “This is not a 2,000-mile concrete structure from sea to sea. These are steel barriers in high priority locations,” said President Trump, in a nationally televised speech. Speaker Pelosi immediately rejected the offer. READ
ONE DEMOCRAT SAYS YES  Sen. Joe Manchin, D-WV, announced his support for President Trump’s immigration compromise. “I’m hopeful the President’s statement tonight will allow us to immediately reopen gov, put [West Virginians] back to work & start negotiating long-term immigration reform. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell vowed to hold a floor vote on the proposal in the Senate this week.  READ
TRUMP MAKES PRO-LIFE VOW   President Trump sent a letter to Speaker Nancy Pelosi threatening to veto pro-abortion legislation. “If they send any legislation to my desk that weakens the protection of human life, I will issue a veto and we have the support to uphold those vetoes,” said Trump, in a video message to attendees at the March for Life rally.  READ
