LEFT ATTACKS TUCKER CARLSON   A far-left organization unearthed old remarks that Tucker Carlson made on a shock jock’s radio show 10 years ago. Carlson admitted what he said was “naughty,” but said he wouldn’t apologize to the “mob.” He said: “Rather than express the usual ritual contrition, how about this: I’m on television every weeknight live for an hour. If you want to know what I think, you can watch.”  READ 
PELOSI SAYS DON’T IMPEACH  Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said she’s against impeachment of President Trump. “He’s just not worth it.” The Associated Press reported: “That thinking among Democrats has shifted, slightly, in part because of the possibility that Mueller’s report will not be decisive and because his investigation is more narrowly focused.” READ 
AOC STILL WANTS IMPEACHMENT  Progressive Democrats are not on board with Speaker Pelosi’s opposition to impeachment. “I happen to disagree with that take,” said Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-NY.  READ 
TWO BISHOPS SANCTIONED   Bishop Michael J. Bransfield, formerly of the Diocese of Wheeling-Charleston, WV, has been sanctioned by Archbishop William Lori of Baltimore, after an investigation with the assistance of five lay experts. Retired Bishop Gordon Bennett, SJ, a former auxiliary bishop of Baltimore, was also sanctioned.  READ 
TRUMP BUDGET REQUEST President Trump will ask Congress for an additional $8.6 billion for a barrier on the southern border.  READ 
JUDICIAL VACANCIES  A record number of circuit judges have been confirmed in President Trump’s first two years. But there remains 144 vacancies on the federal bench – 35% more vacancies than when President Trump first took office. And 60% of these vacancies are considered judicial emergencies because of large caseloads waiting for justice.  READ
