FREEDOM FOR FAITH-BASED GROUPS  At least 2,000 children were disrupted and thousands more foster parents lost from the system after liberal activists forced Catholic Charities to close adoption and foster care services in Illinois, said Steve Roach, executive director of Catholic Charities for the Diocese of Springfield. Now Roach is calling for Congress to pass the Child Welfare Provider Inclusion Act, to prohibit local governments from discriminating against faith-based adoption and foster care groups. READ
FREEDOM IN KANSAS  Gov. Jeff Colyer, R-KS, signed a bill to protect faith-based foster and adoption agencies. “The actions taken in this bill will prevent discrimination against faith-based agencies of any faith, of any creed, of any religion,” said Gov. Colyer.  READ

POLITICAL SPORTS  The Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) is now partnering with abortion giant Planned Parenthood for “Women’s Empowerment.” The WNBA pledges to donate $5 for every ticket purchased to one of six groups that are “changing the game for women and girls.” One of those groups is Planned Parenthood.  READ
