PRO-LIFE DEM IN DANGERSeveral pro-abortion groups joined together to announced their endorsement of pro-abortion Democrat Marie Newman. She recently announced her second primary bid to oust Rep. Dan Lipinski, one of the only Democrats in the House with a solid pro-life record. Lipinski won the primary in 2018 by only 2,145 votes (or 51.1 to 48.9%). READ 
ECONOMIC GAINSThe poorest Americans are benefiting the most from the strong economy. In April, the unemployment rate for Americans with a high school degree fell to the lowest rates since before the Great Recession. READ 
TRANSGENDER AND SPORTS  Selina Soule, a 16-year-old runner from Glastonbury, Connecticut, shares what it’s like being forced to compete against biological boys. “Everyone is afraid of retaliation from the media, from the kids around their school, from other athletes, coaches, schools, administrators,” Selina explained. Selina’s mother warns that if the Equality Act is passed on a federal level, “women will be completely eradicated from sports.” READ 
EQUALITY ACT The House Judiciary Committee approved a controversial bill that Catholics warn would severely damage religious liberty and conscience rights. “The Equality Act is deliberately written to give radical sexual ideology the force of law: nature, religion, custom, science, and common sense be damned,” said Stephen White, a fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center.  READ 
GEORGIA VS. HOLLYWOOD Hollywood actors are threatening to boycott Georgia because of pro-life legislation known as the heartbeat bill, which will soon be signed into law by the state’s Republican governor, Brian Kemp. “We cannot change our values of who we are for money,” Kemp said of the boycott threats.  READ

SAINT OF THE DAY  The death of a fiancé can be traumatic, and Saint Rose Venerini responded by joining a convent. That is not where God was calling her, however.
