TO THE FLOOR  Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell plans to bring the latest attempt to replace Obamacare to the Senate floor next week, his spokesman confirmed. The Senate has until Sept. 30 to use reconciliation to pass such a bill with a simple majority. President Trump endorsed the Graham-Cassidy bill. READ

IMMIGRATION  Nancy Pelosi had to flee her own press conference when immigration activists shouted her down for not being strong enough in her support for amnesty for DACA children. READ

ACLU SUES OVER ADOPTION  Michigan passed a law in 2015 to ensure that religious organizations could continue to provide adoption services in accordance with their religious principles. The ACLU filed a lawsuit against the law in federal court. The Michigan Catholic Conference called the ACLU’s claims of a ban on adoptions as “completely dishonest.” READ

FUNNY MAN  Last-night comedian Jimmy Kimmel, who once hosted a show where girls jumped on trampolines, encouraged his audience to call Capitol Hill against the GOP health care bill. Later he “trolled” Trump for endorsing Senator Cassidy’s health care bill. Ready for a laugh? The media are claiming this comic knows more about health care than Senator Bill Cassidy, a medical doctor who ran for the Senate because of how Obamacare was ruining health care. READ
